Aruosa Osemwegie is a Human Resource consultant, Workplace Readiness coach, Life & Career Coach, Job Search Strategist, Service Excellence Activist and a Youth Instigator with about a decade’s experience. He is the author of the fast-selling 350paged book, “Getting a Job is a Job: A No-Nonsense Practical Guide to Getting Your Desired Job”. He is currently the Managing Consultant, Enable Africa Nig. Ltd (focused on enabling exceptional expressions in and through individuals, organisations and communities by providing various HR consulting and workforce development solutions; and SME & Workplace Readiness programmes).
Aruosa is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR), with experience as a Practitioner, Consultant and Theorist in People Management. He is an alumnus of both the Harvard Business School and the Lagos Business School’s executive development programs in Human Capital Management. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science & Technology from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He has had rich experience working and consulting in some of Nigeria’s leading-light organisations. He was until recently a member of the Human Resources group of Guaranty Trust Bank Nigeria.
As a Life & Career Coach and a Job Search strategist his particular passion is for getting people to ‘extend themselves beyond themselves’. He is a member of US-based Career Planning & Adult Development Network, a member & facilitator for Daystar CareerPLUS in Nigeria, also a member of the leading global human resources body, Society for Human Resources Management, United States (SHRM) and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, Nigeria (ACIPM). He is a much sought after conference speaker with the ability to infuse and energize his audience. Also a regular columnist on HR/People Management in The Guardian newspapers.
